The City of Crystal, through the West Metro Fire-Rescue District, is working with Smart911 to notify residents via email, text, phone or social media when there are emergencies. To receive these mass notifications, residents must opt in, sign up for an account and share the varying levels of information that they want police, fire and EMS to utilize when responding to a 9-1-1 call. The Crystal Frolics annual celebration is July 24-27 at Becker and Welcome Park in Crystal. Drawing in thousands of area residents and visitors, the Frolics features an array of events including a community food drive, live entertainment, one of the area's largest softball tournaments, pickleball tournaments delectable food and beverage vendors, exciting activities for the whole family, and so much more!
