  • Help Shape the Future of Crystal Recreation

    The Crystal Recreation Department has launched a community-wide Recreation Needs Assessment Survey, giving participants of all ages the opportunity to help shape the future of local programming, events and services. The survey is designed to gather feedback on current recreation offerings, identify barriers that may prevent participation, and spark new community opportunities. Whether participants are frequent park users, partake occasionally or have never enrolled in a class, all feedback is welcome and will help ensure city resources are prioritized effectively.

    Review Crystal's Climate Action Plan

    The City of Crystal is inviting residents, businesses and community stakeholders to review and provide feedback on the draft Resilient Crystal Climate Action Plan. The draft plan represents the culmination of a community-driven planning process that combined technical analysis and community input. From February through May 2026, a 24-member planning team composed of residents, commissioners, city staff, and council representatives participated in a series of workshops to identify local climate challenges and develop strategies for a more resilient future.

  • Election Dates - 2026

    City Council Candidate Filing

    Crystal will have three council seats on the 2026 general election ballot. The terms for three council seats representing Ward 1 and Ward 2 in southern Crystal, and Section 2 (Wards 3 and 4) in northern Crystal, expire at the end of 2026. ​ The council member filing period is open from May 19 to June 2. ​ For information about filing, polling locations, absentee voting, registration, and more, visit go.crystalmn.gov/vote.
