In the City of Crystal, early voting for the Primary Election will be available July 24 through Aug. 10. Early voting for the General Election will be available Oct. 16 through Nov. 2. Voters who wish to vote earlier can still vote by mail and use absentee voting options available through their county.

The Crystal Recreation Department has launched a community-wide Recreation Needs Assessment Survey, giving participants of all ages the opportunity to help shape the future of local programming, events and services. The survey is designed to gather feedback on current recreation offerings, identify barriers that may prevent participation, and spark new community opportunities. Whether participants are frequent park users, partake occasionally or have never enrolled in a class, all feedback is welcome and will help ensure city resources are prioritized effectively.

The City of Crystal is inviting residents, businesses and community stakeholders to review and provide feedback on the draft Resilient Crystal Climate Action Plan. The draft plan represents the culmination of a community-driven planning process that combined technical analysis and community input. From February through May 2026, a 24-member planning team composed of residents, commissioners, city staff, and council representatives participated in a series of workshops to identify local climate challenges and develop strategies for a more resilient future.
